Julie is a seasoned healthcare professional with a background in pediatric nursing since 2007 and a certified Lactation Consultant since 2014. She’s also a mother of four beautiful kids.
Julie always looked forward to the prospect of becoming a mother. From a young age, babies held a magical allure for her. Despite envisioning a wonderful and empowering start to motherhood, she found herself unexpectedly grappling with birth trauma and breastfeeding challenges. The realization that struggling with breastfeeding can be an unparalleled difficulty led her to seek a supportive companion who could provide a safe space for her to confide in about her journey.
Like many in the field of lactation consulting, Julie chose this profession as a means of personal healing. Specializing in assisting new parents immersed in the haze of sleep exhaustion, she empathizes with the profound difficulty they face. Acknowledging the true sense of helplessness that accompanies challenges in the fundamental act of feeding a baby, she offers support to parents in their journey.
Julie’s approach to lactation places a high value on mental and emotional health, recognizing these as integral aspects of parenting that shape and guide all other decisions.
